Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.

These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

Horn antenna金鐘獎戲劇類近幾年爭議不斷，尤其去年「台灣犯罪故事」入圍、獲獎正當性受到質疑，今年文化部再改制，企圖讓規則更詳盡，卻仍引發不少爭議，因許多準備報獎的作品都已按照之前的「遊戲規則」拍攝且播出，過往在迷你劇集類別經常是入圍大贏家的公視恐怕影響最劇，9部片長未達60分鐘的學生劇展全都無緣報獎。

根據文化部3月19日公布的金鐘獎報名要點，針對戲劇類及迷你劇集類的區分再做修改，總集數10集以上就算戲劇類，未達10集、片長60分鐘以上則算在迷你劇集。公視的人生劇展與學生劇展向來在迷你劇集類別是入圍大贏家，其中學生劇展鼓勵創新題材，片長都不超過30分鐘，但按照今年的標準，就不能報獎金鐘。

前年在金鐘獎上成績亮眼的「降河洄游」也是學生作品，由已故視帝吳朋奉奪迷你劇集最佳男主角獎，近幾年發展受看好的新生代男演員黃冠智，也因此劇奪迷你劇集男配角獎，但這部片長僅23分鐘，按照今年標準，也不能報獎金鐘。

今年受到影響的9部學生劇展中，包括金鐘視后王琄與陶傳正合作的「病房裡跳華爾滋」，黃冠智與陳雪甄主演的「女綁匪」，以及「中國神獸」、「發財車」、「美味的舌頭」、「愛失禁」、「蚵仔」、「非常規跑者」、「馬來亞虎」等劇。

對於學生劇展抱憾無法報獎金鐘，公視節目部經理於蓓華表示：「雖然短片並非電視項目主流類別，但未來也許可以考慮增設金鐘短片類獎項，好比，最佳戲劇短片、最佳動畫短片、最佳紀錄短片等獎項，鼓勵不同規格的創作能量。也可和迷你劇及電視電影拉出區隔。」並提出被譽為電視奧林匹克的加拿大班芙電視節為例，「也有短片獎，在電視獎中設置短片項目，符合世界潮流」。
