《惡靈古堡4重製版》突破里程碑 全球銷售900萬份
《惡靈古堡》系列以恐怖驚悚、射擊、生存為主要內容，除了電子遊戲外，也跨足電影、漫畫、小說等跨媒體的改編作品。近年，日本電子遊戲開發商Capcom發布一系列遊戲重製版，銷售量非常亮眼，其中《惡靈古堡4重製版》於2023年上市，目前在所有平台的銷售量已超過900萬份。
Capcom宣布，截至 2024年10月中旬，《惡靈古堡4重製版》的銷量已突破800萬份，才短短2個月的時間，又突破了百萬份銷售，可能要歸功於10月的萬聖節特價，當時《惡靈古堡4重製版》從10月底開放5折特價，至11月13日活動結束，玩家僅需要154元港幣（約台幣648元）即可入手，因此才在短時間內銷量突破900萬大關。
以整體銷量計算，《惡靈古堡》無疑是Capcom 銷量最大的系列遊戲，總銷量超過1.63億份；第2則是《魔物獵人》（1.05億）。自2019年開始計算，《惡靈古堡2》是有史以來銷量最高的《惡靈古堡》遊戲，售出1,450萬份；其次是《惡靈古堡7》，售出1,400萬份；第3是《惡靈古堡：村莊》，銷量為1,050 萬份；第4名開始依序為《惡靈古堡5》（940萬份）、《惡靈古堡6》（930萬份）和《惡靈古堡3》（920萬份）。
