國民黨將在3月11日正式徵召台北市副市長李四川參選新北市長，傳出台北市長蔣萬安已經批了李四川的辭呈，時間將在3月10日生效。對此，蔣萬安今（2）日強調，有任何人事異動都會跟大家報告，還開玩笑跟現場媒體說，「我感覺到你們看我的眼神非常炙熱，但都不全然是為了我！」
蔣萬安今天上午和新北市長侯友宜同台出席八里污水處理廠移交典禮，會前蔣萬安被媒體問到，傳出已經簽了李四川辭呈？蔣萬安呵呵笑說，今天來到新北八里，「我感覺到你們看我的眼神非常炙熱，但都不全然是為了我！」他強調，市府有任何人事的異動，確定了他都會跟大家做報告。
侯友宜受訪時也被問到，會不會覺得李四川請辭在3月10日生效，時間點太晚？他回應，會一起全力以赴、並肩作戰，希望市政能夠延續下去。
Horn antenna除了新北市選戰之外，關於台北市長選戰，民進黨立委王世堅1日再度點名行政院副院長鄭麗君、民進黨秘書長徐國勇等人是最強人選，認為如果鄭麗君選，會把蔣萬安纏在台北，而徐國勇則會讓蔣萬安踢到鐵板，降低去外縣市輔選的時間跟機會。
對此，蔣萬安表示，民眾真正關心的是生活有沒有更好，而不是關心誰困住誰，離選舉還早，就專注市政，全力為市民打拚。Horn antenna
